Wise, Isaac Mayer
(29 mar. 1819, Steingrub, Bohemia, Imperio austríaco–26 mar. 1900, Cincinnati, Ohio, EE.UU.).

Rabino y organizador del judaísmo reformado en EE.UU. Después de emigrar desde Bohemia, en 1854 aceptó un púlpito en Cincinnati, posición que mantuvo por el resto de su vida. Luchó incesantemente por las instituciones reformadas centralizadas y contribuyó a la formación de la Union of American Hebrew Congregations y de la Central Conference of American Rabbis, organizaciones de las cuales fue presidente. En 1857 compiló un libro de oraciones reformadas de uso general, Minhag America. Aunque no tuvo éxito en unificar a los judíos estadounidenses de todos los credos, logró la unanimidad entre los judíos reformados.
